Great Volunteer Opportunity for students interested in a medical career: McKee Medical Center, part of the national top 10 Banner Health System, located in Loveland, CO is seeking volunteers who are interested in entering healthcare. Volunteering at McKee allows students to network with other healthcare professionals, gain life experience and the hours look great on a resume. The following are some of our new opportunities: -Surgery Center: We have 10 new positions open from Mon-Fri from 4pm-8pm. These volunteers will oversee the Surgery Center lobby. They will be able to interface with our Surgery Center staff members, and care for patient families in the waiting area. In between caring for patient families, these students will be able to study at the information desk (a great combination for students!) -Information Desks: We have evening (6pm-8pm) and weekend shifts available at our information desks -Sunshine Cart: In addition we have Sunshine Cart volunteer opportunities open from 5-7pm and on the weekends. These volunteers visit our patients room to room and provide comfort items from our Sunshine Cart.
