Teaching with Technology Workshop: Digital Video Made Easy - Using the Flip Camera as a Tool to Enhance Student Learning

Description:

This workshop will explore how CSU faculty and staff might use the compact Flip digital video recorder as a teaching and learning tool. Faculty and staff could use it to shoot, edit, and post short video segments to be used in the classroom or online. Students could use it to record interviews, document research projects, or produce an advocacy video. The session will explore applications of the technology and provide a brief orientation to shooting and editing with the Flip camera. Several easy-to-use techniques will be demonstrated that will improve video and audio acquired with the Flipcam.
