Description:
Dr. Goller is a teaching professor and education research scholar at North Carolina State University (NC State). Dr. Goller current projects, funded by NSF, include studies on promoting active learning and mentoring, evaluating open-data-based lessons and course-based undergraduate research experiences (CUREs), and an Research Coordination Network called Project Leadership which aims to facilitate and study leadership within the context of students group work. In this seminar, Dr. Goller will describe some of his education research findings and his involvement with professional development efforts to support faculty starting to delve in the field of education research.
