No Test Revolution: Student Choice in Assignments and Student-Created Rubrics
Presenter(s):
Annie Krieg
Description:
It's easy to imagine an upper-division project-based course with a small group of majors in one's field. What would project-based assignments, assessed with student-authored rubrics, look like in a high enrollment and/or AUCC course with students from all over the university? In this presentation we will learn about how and why to implement elements of student choice assignments and student-authored rubrics. Furthermore, we will examine connections between increased student agency and motivation and inclusivity in classes.
