New and emerging technologies are rapidly and profoundly changing the ways we communicate and providing new opportunities for writers. Web 2.0 tools facilitate the creation, editing and sharing of content. This workshop will offer a definition of Web 2.0 and discuss the uses and features of some specific Web 2.0 tools. It will also provide hands-on exploration of a range of online tools such as blogs, discussion forums and groups, simple and sometimes-free webpage creators, wikis and collaborative tools, and social networking sites.Free and open to all members of the CSU community.
