Whether writing a seminar paper,a journal article, or a thesis or dissertation, graduate students face substantial writing challenges. To keep those challenges from becoming obstacles, we present this workshop, designed to build graduate students' understanding of the writng situations they face. We will discuss graduate school as a process of becoming a member of an academic discipine as well as practical advice and resources for successful writing in graduate school.
