Teaching Clinical and Hands-On Skills - Testing Our Assumptions
Presenter(s):
Dr. Erin Malone (University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine)
Description:
Clinical and hands-on skills training is an integral part of veterinary and biomedical curricula. However, with more and more content squeezed into our programs, it is essential that the training hours used be effective and efficient. New research in motor skills learning should make us take another look at our training programs. During this seminar, Dr. Erin Malone will make recommendations from the research for clinical and other hands-on types of learning.
