Becoming one of the best academic institutions to work at is a desirable goal for Colorado State University. Sustaining a positive campus climate is essential to making this happen. Yet, all too often, a healthy campus climate is compromised by intentional and unintentional negative comments aimed at students, faculty and staff called microaggressions. This experiential training will help participants gain; a deeper understanding of the importance of inclusion toward reaching excellence as an organization; explore comments and phrases which inhibit inclusive spaces; and skills to create more inclusive environments.
