The generation of students who currently attend campus have grown up in a digital world where "time-shifting" (choosing when and where to access resources) is not only acceptable, but expected. Podcasting, which has emerged as a common means of capturing a lecture or discussion in digital form, has been embraced by a number of institutions across the country. This presentation will address the advantages and disadvantages of making and using podcasts to support student learning. The session will also include a brief demonstration of how to create a podcast in a classroom environment and how to make your podcast available through iTunesU.
