Using Student Data to Inform Inclusive Instructional Strategies and Design Choices

Description:
This professional development session is designed to help faculty members to leverage student data to inform their instructional strategies and design choices, with a focus on promoting inclusive teaching practices. The session will cover the importance of collecting and analyzing student data using student surveys in Canvas, as well as practical strategies for using this and other institution student data to create a more inclusive classroom environment. Faculty will create a student-data survey for their course and explore design choices based on student demographic data such as student veterans, first generation students, non-traditional students, and more.
